After signing there first record deal with Split Rail Records, Do it to Julia began tracking there debut album "Archie Carroll" in January of 2008. Logging over 200 hours of studio time in the Robert F. Gilley Recording Studio the recording of "Archie Carroll" took the band into late spring. Matthew Arcaini, head producer and engineer, then took the tracks to Nashville to be mixed and mastered. Old friend and producer Alex Johns was called in to mix three of the tracks: Shades of White, Sweater Song and Julia. On October 23, 2008 Do it to Julia released "Archie Carroll" to a crowd of over 400 at Legends in Boone NC. The record is now available on www.cdbaby.com, iTunes, and right here in the Do it to Julia Store.
